THIS COURT HAS REVIEWED the Petition for Appeal dated June 9, 1983 and filed in the above-entitled matter. THIS COURT HAS ALSO REVIEWED the entire file which contains no order granting an appeal, transcript or date the appeal was filed. FURTHERMORE, THIS COURT HAS DETERMINED Appellant's Petition for Review requests this Court to set aside factual determinations of the Tribal Court and stay the judgment pending" an appeal.
In an effort by this Court to determine the status of this appeal sent a letter to the parties on July 17, 1986. In a letter dated August 4, 1986, Carol C. Johns, attorney for Appellant, advised the Court of negotiations, however, has made no further effort to inform the Court of the status of those negotiations or request a date for a hearing.
THEREFORE, this Court HEREBY finds that there was no order granting an appeal in this matter and/or DENIES the Petition for Appeal. THE REQUEST FOR A STAY OF THE JUDGMENT PENDING REVIEW IS ALSO DENIED AND/OR HERBBY VACATED.DATED THIS 22nd day of October, 1986.
